There was no way. Absolutely no way!
Rhonda Wellington-Lloyd sat on her four-poster bed in astonishment. In front of her lay the marriage predictor she has hastily dropped. After spending the entire day matching up her friends and classmates, declaring that her predictor spoke nothing but the truth and growing frustrated with Arnold and his determination that the predictor was wrong in pairing him with Helga – she now had reason to believe him.
There was no way that she would marry him!
To make sure, she changed her answers several times in the hopes of getting a different result, but each time it popped out.
Curly.
Tears of frustration welled up in her eyes. There was no way! How could she possible end up with that little stalking creep? How? When she already knew who she wanted to marry?
Throwing the infuriating bit of folded paper in the trash, she fell back on her huge fluffed up pillows and sighed. It had to be wrong after all. Arnold was right – the piece of paper was wrong. That's all there was to it.
Curly annoyed her. He made her so mad she felt like exploding. He made her skin crawl and rarely did she ever feel sympathy for how harshly she rebuked him. Okay, she admitted, his devotion was very sweet at times, and he obviously had good style to be choosing her as his obsession, but she just didn't feel anything romantic for him.
She would have the class believe she didn't feel anything romantic for any of her classmates. But in secret she knew that was a lie.  She turned round onto her stomach and pulled out a piece of paper from underneath her pillow.  A photograph. She smiled softly, stroking the image with one finger.
Staring back at her with an awkward and goofy grin was Harold Berman, and in his hand was Courtney – their egg. Those few days of being 'married' to Harold were the best days of her entire school life – she had learned what it would be like to be married to the boy she had been crushing on for years.
Sure, he frustrated her, he argued with her and really wasn't into looking after the egg. And he did end up eating their 'baby' when he got hungry – BUT he was sweet enough to spend hours trying to piece her shell back together again and to apologise to her for what he'd done. He listened to her in the end and proved himself to be a wonderful father and obedient husband. Eventually.
She didn't know what it was about Harold that drew her in – he was fat, clumsy, a bully, messy, obsessed with food… but he had a naivety and charm about him. There was something very endearing about the older boy, something that told her she could look after him and he would care for her deeply. If she could just be with him... Unfortunately despite her attempts at subtly letting him know her feelings, he seemed reluctant to reciprocate. Maybe he was just too dumb to get it, and she wasn't thrilled with the idea of announcing her feelings to everyone else.
But one day! One day she was sure that they would get married. One day she would be able to announce her feelings and forget about what everyone else would think.
There was no way she was going to end up with Curly – not when Harold made her heart fluttered and had her fighting back smiles.
There was only one thing left to do – she had to apologise to everyone she'd paired up and explain that the Marriage Predictor was faulty. First thing tomorrow morning, that was what she was going to do.
What happened to Rhonda that made her re-assess the truth in her Marriage Predictor? (RhondaxHarold, hints of RhondaxCurly)

I'm glad someone wrote this, I've imagined that this was Rhonda's outcome. But since Arnold got paired up with Helga...sorry Rhonda, your fate is sealed.
I'm a Rhondurly shipper, so this was a treat to read!
